Role Summary:
The Director – Supply & Procurement is responsible for ensuring best-in-class fill rates, cost-efficient procurement, and seamless coordination across 3P manufacturing partners. The role owns the end-to-end supply value chain — from raw material and packaging sourcing to production planning, dispatch readiness, and inventory health — ensuring that all NPD and BAU products meet service levels, cost targets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

- Set up production planning templates and ensure adherence to weekly/monthly production schedules at all 3P sites.
2. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Lead the Procurement team for raw materials, packaging materials, and third-party services.
- Drive cost efficiency through negotiation, benchmarking, and alternate vendor development.
- Establish strategic sourcing frameworks for key categories — actives, excipients, and primary packaging.
- Monitor supplier OTIF (On Time In Full) performance, quality compliance, and payment cycles.
3. 3P Manufacturing Operations
- Manage the network of third-party manufacturing units (nutraceuticals, foods, personal care, etc.) for consistent output and quality.
- Review plant capacity, efficiency, and quality KPIs regularly; identify and onboard new 3Ps as per growth plans.
- Implement monthly business reviews (MBRs) with each 3P to track performance, CAPA, and NPD support.
- Work closely with QA, NPD, and Packaging teams to enable smooth commercialisation of new products.
4. Cost & Efficiency Management
- Own RM/PM cost vs. cost-sheet variances, drive VA/VE projects for margin improvement.
- Optimize logistics, MOQ planning, and freight costs through structured supplier partnerships.
- Support working capital management via inventory turns and payment term negotiations.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D/NPD teams to ensure raw material readiness for new launches.
